Another thing I did this week was get my free amazon server set up. It was incredibly easy to get and set it up running Ubuntu, however what was less easy was getting a counter strike global offensive server running on it, but eventually I got that working too. It’s even working running a couple of death match mods.

I must say amazon do a spectacular job as hosts, you get 600mb of ram and a slice of Xeon for free. Obviously there are some limitations for example you’re only allowed one instance and there are bandwidth restriction, but other than that it is a truly beautiful service.
